Deirdre O’Sullivan and Robyn Blundell met about a year ago. Each having fashion backgrounds through their studies, they clicked over similar outlook on fashion design and it was then they decided to put their strengths together and started their own label Deerobyn. Their first collection kickstarted A/W 11 and they took inspiration from Victorian/ Georgian detailing and shapes. Current SS/12 started off in colour, the prints was inspired from the sea and marine life. Their cuts are often inspired by architecture and their patterns by nature.

Re-dress held their label during better fashion week and the current collection can be found upstairs of OmdivaAtelier 27. Future prospects of Deerobyn is to get their web sight up and running and to continue to be true to themselves and keep their individuality. Although it is currently a hard climate to start a new label they both believe that it is good time for creativity and present new creations on to the scene.
