Petria Lenehan opened Dolls in 2005. Having studied fashion design at FIT New York, she spent a couple of years designing her own collection and working in shops in Brighton and London. Petria thrived in the shop environment, enjoying learning about buying and dealing face to face with customers. She nearly opened a shop in East London but the booming economy in Ireland brought her home and she was able to introduce new and exciting labels she has discovered to the new fashion forward Dublin . When buying she is driven by quality, wearability and longevity whilst also bringing her own unique style and natural flair for fashion . She very much has the Dolls customer in mind; always buying into things that she loves and enjoy mixing less known brands and designers with labels that may have more of a fashion following.

Going forward Petria hopes to focus more on her own label; having experimented with her own designs over the years she now feels that she has the experience and understanding to give it the direction it needs. In an exciting sideline project, Petria has been working alongside the designers Conor and David on an online store

A Brief history is a vintage label that are run by Dhammika Una Wijetunge. She buys her things individually, never in lots or in bulk. She looks for cut, construction quality and playfulness. Most of her buying is done in the States, but also some in the UK, France, and Germany.
